Aidan Mulholland

Radio Meneo is a group which rose from the ashes of Samsonelles and consist of myself and the other founding member. We play songs and tunes from our very different backgrounds, tastes, interests and personalities. We have not self-consciously chosen "styles" but people who have heard us mention Spanish, Blues, Cajun, Irish gypsy... We have also been working on music incorporating a singer and dancer from Cordoba, Spain.
Working alone I offer fiddle/ violin classes in my workshop concentrating on Irish traditional but also give guidance to those who wish to learn to improvise in other styles- blue, jazz, flamenco. Students are also encouraged to be aware of composition and this is woven into instrument tuition. I also get invited to play Spanish/flamenco guitar at events.
